"Seas of Change"
The 1905 fur trapper in his ocean-going canoe and the
2005 sport kayaker spy each other through the craggy rocks on the Northwest coast.

My family and a few friends made up the team that created this winning sand sculpture (intermediate division)
at the Ocean Shores Sand & Sawdust Festival competition in June 2005.
 
Awards: 2nd Place, Intermediate Division
and
"Sponsor's Award" for best depiction of theme "100 years of coastal history"
